Mini Pooh Pizzas -  https://family.disney.com/recipe/mini-winnie-the-pooh-pizzas/ Spray cookie sheet and set aside. Roll out pre-made pizza dough. Separate into sections, and form each section into a Pooh-head with ears. Transfer to cookie sheet and top working pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, black-olive eyes & nose, and pepperoni eyebrows & nose crinkle. Bake according to pizza-dough package instructions. Are your bananas ripening too fast?  Then why not make them into espresso banana bread with a sugar-pecan streusel and an espresso glaze? https://www.howsweeteats.com/2017/01/banana-bread-espresso-glaze/ Mmm! 😋

The Golden Arches: Homemade Sausage McMuffin

To make 3 homemade sausage/egg McMuffins: Fry 3 eggs. Fry 3 pieces of sausage, covering each with cheese slice shortly before sausages are done cooking. Toast 3 English muffins. Assemble breakfast sandwiches, and enjoy! 🥪

The Cookie Jar: Paleo Pumpkin & Cocoa

https://www.creativehealthyfamily.com/healthy-almond-flour-pumpkin-cookies/ Okay, so I used whole-wheat flour instead of almond flour, white sugar instead of date sugar, and 4 Tbsp butter-flavored shortening instead of 2T coconut oil + 2T ghee. And the product was okay, with a good flavor - but kinda dry, making it a good cookie to go with our decaf coffee this evening. ☕️😉 Perhaps adapting a paleo recipe is not the best way to find a super-great cookie, lol. 😂 🍪

The Bakery: Pimento Cheese Scones

Well, tonight I needed to use up some leftover pimento cheese - plus we had leftover spaghetti&meatballs with which bread would go nicely. So how about it? https://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/pimiento-cheese-scones

The Butcher Shop: Lamb & Liver

Image
I wanted to branch out and cook a different kind of meat for the family rather than just continuing with the same-old/same-old, right?! So I found a chunk of lamb while making the grocery order, and then I found two lamb recipes to try with it.... 🐑  The first lamb recipe called for 6 lamb chops (1 chop = ~4 ounces), and the other one called for 250 grams of British lamb mince (1 cup/8 ounces). Six chops is 24 ounces, plus eight ounces is 32 ounces/2 pounds - so ordering a 2-3 lb package of lamb breast from Walmart  should easily cover both recipes, don’t ya think? 🤔  https://www.food.com/recipe/ginger-lamb-chops-54947 Except come to find out, a lamb breast and a lamb chop are two very different items! One is mostly meat, while  the other is composed predominantly of fat. I cooked half the split lamb breast for dinner the other night, and between the two of us my husband and I ate all the meat we were able to extract from the bony fat. Good thing it was just us that night, lol! Since
