As it turns out, cutting back on coffee seems to have worked (along with a higher dose of letrozole, and of course God deciding the time was right). We’re 5 weeks pregnant with Our Little Blessing 3 aka Rudy (Roo D)!
So for week 4, we celebrated with poppyseed kuchen from my Hungarian-chef heritage. ๐ญ๐บ๐จ๐ณ
It’s not your fault when other people get angry, and it’s not your responsibility to fix their problems. Let it go & move on, at least as much as you can. See this helpful article: People's Meanness
To be a true Southern cook, you’ve gotta be able to whip up some beans & cornbread, right? Well, I didn’t grow up with ‘em, but I’m learnin’.... I love how this recipe for beans encourages taking out the ham hock, shredding the ham, and adding it back into the beans. Also might’ve broken up a couple bay leaves into little bits, sprinkled in a good amount of onion powder, and added a couple spoonfuls of minced garlic along with a few beef bouillon cubes. Oh, and the cornbread recipe was just the one on the back of the cornmeal. “Excellent,” said Christopher Robin. And even Eeyore said, “Fantastic; you can make those anytime.” Ruby liked the cornbread and tried 2 beans. Roo ate some cornbread crumbles in his veggie-brown-rice-turkey purรฉe, and I Kanga thought they were pretty delicious too. Gotta love a good recipe! ๐ https://southernbite.com/southern-lima-beans-butter-beans/
