When overwhelmed by abusive relationships & lying relatives & lacking abilities & the absence of friendships, it can be hard to remember the jewels of life (hidden beneath the pain of life). Today I needed this reminder that under all the extra layers of life, Christopher Robin & I are still (wonderfully) married. 💞

Keep your eyes on the sun today, even if you sometimes feel buried beneath life’s soil. 🌻

“Pride is the taproot of all sin.”  Isaiah 1-4, from The Bible Recap - judgment was coming because of pride & cruelty (loving self instead of loving God & others).  “The Lord said: ‘Because the daughters of Zion are HAUGHTY and walk with outstretched necks, glancing wantonly with their eyes’” (Isaiah‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬). Where do I struggle with pride? Isn’t it pride when I want life to work according to my plan instead of watching with humble appreciation as God works everything according to His own perfectly-wonderful plan?  Breakfast: avocado toast 🥑☕️ Lunch: avocado/egg/hash-brown burgers @Wild Eggs 🥑 🍔 ☕️
