The Skillet: Hush! (the Secret to Making Hush Puppies)




So you’ve brought home some fish & coleslaw & hush-puppy mix and are all set to make a perfect seafood dinner for your family, right? But then the hush puppies fall apart in the oil - and you wonder why? We’ll, here ya go: 

1. Make sure there’s plenty of oil for frying.

2. Pre-heat the oil.

3. Mix an egg into the hush puppy batter.

4. Let the batter sit a few minutes before frying.


And wa-la! Perfect hush puppies! Yay 😁
