The Coffee-Pot: Perfect Blending
We love coffee at my house! ☕️ So of course, Christopher Robin & I had a coffee-flavored wedding cake. The recipe my friend used (from Martha Stewart) is no longer available online, but here’s a similar recipe: Mocha Cake (shoutout to Mel's Bakery in Barbourville, KY) Coffee is a fitting illustration of marriage; because while black coffee is good (and even preferable to some people, as it was to me before getting pregnant with Roo) - most people would agree that perfect coffee requires a perfect blending of the black-coffee base with some combination of milk/creamer & sugar/sweetener, just like a perfect marriage requires a perfect blending of one man & one woman into a lifelong one-flesh union. “No longer two but one” (Mark 10:8).
